ten on ten

Happy Saturday.
How are ya?

Thanks to Jenny's friendly reminder, I am linking up with Rebekah tonight for ten on ten.
Sharing ten pictures, over the course of ten hours throughout the day.
Finding beauty in the ordinary through my lens.
And just so ya know, I cheated, and I am sharing more than ten pictures.
Because sometimes,
rules were made to be broken.

So here we go...
7am ish- My Hannah Banana, all smiles all the time.
And because I couldn't leave little Clairey out, also at 7am'ish-

8'ish- breakfast.
All three of us had this for b-fast this morning (Mr. H was working, sad face).  I made steel cut oats using this recipe from pinterest.  I froze the shapes and this morning just reheated them like oatmeal and topped with slivered almonds, golden raisins, bananas, and cinnamon.  Oh and some nutella.  Ymmmmmmm.

9:30am- checking out the prices at the farmers market.  The berries were high, but I bought them anyway and man are they good.

9:45'ish- the girls were pretty taken with this huge horse dog.  And I guess his owner must have missed the sign at the market that says NO DOGS.

10am'ish- leaving the market with all of our loot.

11am- I took the girls to the movies to see The Adventures of Ariety.

12:30'ish- After the movie we went for a walk around Dos Lagos.

3ish- Squeezed in a few minutes to read.  I'm reading this.

4pm- dinner prep.  on the menu: cauliflower pizza and strawberries from the market (picked this morning btw)

5pm ish- man and his best friend.

 5:30'ish- toes in the sand.

6pm- Dinner.  I used this recipe for the cauliflower crusts.

That's it for today.
Who is excited about daylight savings tonight/tomorrow?
I love the lighter longer days, I just hate that we have daylight savings in the first place.  We should have lighter longer days 365 days a year.  Who's with me?!
That's it.  It's happening.  I'm putting my foot down.  This will be the last daylight savings time ever.  It will be epic.  Tell your friends.
;)

Stop by Rebekah's and check out the other fun ten on ten entries.
Good night!

Ten on Ten

I had so much fun last month on the tenth linking up with Rebekah for ten on ten, that I marked my calendar to be ready for it this month.
It is a photography challenge, take a picture every hour for ten hours throughout your day.

6:30ish, the first picture of mine will most likely always be coffee.  My feet hit the floor and I run to my coffee pot.
Finally replaced our broken cuisinart grind and brew with the brand new model.  It's so sleek.  And I think it brews faster, bonus.

8:30'ish- getting ready to take Hannah to school, wearing my new headband from Gussy.

9:30ish- me and my shopping buddy picking up a baby gift for a friend, and some more party essentials for Claire's birthday next week.

10:30ish- picked up my canvas from Sam's Club that finally came in! I was so excited to see it.  I think it looks great.  It is a 16x20 that I plan to hang in the girls bedroom, and for $48 I thought it was a great price.
I'm so happy that I ran to get my camera on that ordinary September day.  They were smiling so big and I was really excited to capture that picture.

11:23 (wink wink) - I was also pretty excited to be listening to Blake's new cd.  It jumped into my cart at Target.  What do you do?

12:30ish- Dumping the groceries out of my car at super speed so that I could get back to school to pick up Hannah on time.

1:30ish- Setting up dinner in the crockpot.
Beer Bbq chicken.  I will let you know how it turned out.

2:30ish- Finally getting a chance to breathe after a busy morning of errands.
For all you readers out there- That book is REALLY good.  I'm only about 75 pages in and already I am hooked!

3:30ish- Sitting down to write a note to a friend.

4:30ish- I like this picture because it is some version of what is usually going on at this time of day in my house.
I have the salad bowl out for dinner.
Hannah and I were snacking on some organic popcorn from fresh and easy.
Hannah is coloring her new shrinky dinks she got for her birthday.
Claire is playing on her new mobigo.
I was perusing the Trader Joe's mailer.
And drinking my coconut water, it sounded really good today.
My work books are out on the island to adjust a few appointments.
Tv is on.
That string hanging to the right of Claire is Hannah's birthday balloons.
Fire is on, it is supposed to rain tomorrow and all weekend here.
Mr.Hass will be home from work soon.
And I love Thursday night, because we have all our good shows saved up from the week to start tonight.

Thanks for checking out my ten on ten.
Head over to Rebekah's blog and check out all of the other great entries.

10 on 10

I am linking up for the first time with Rebekah for 10 on 10!
For those who don't know about it,
it's 10 pictures every hour on the tenth of the month.

Morning coffee.  A must.  I was bummed my favorite mug was in the dishwasher so you get to see a not so favorite mug.
Moved upstairs after breakfast to get ready for the day and start laundry.
Off to Sam's Club to get some essentials...
 like more Halloween candy.  :)
Then time for a little treadmill action (because of all that Halloween candy).  The girls were getting antsy and it was close to lunchtime so I just walked at 4.0 speed, incline of 2, for 1.5 miles with the weights in hands.  Wish I knew how many calories you burned on top of what it says with the weights.  Maybe 4 almond joy's worth?
Sippies drying out on counter after coming out of the dishwasher.
There are always sippies drying on our counter.
Hannah helped me make harvest muffins while Claire napped.
Hannah waiting patiently for her slow mom and sister to catch up to her on our way to the park.
Drover thru Miguel's Jr. for dinner.
Tub time... and I had meant for this to be my last picture
BUT...
Mr. Hass walked in from work with flowers for mua!
He said just because.
Awwww.

So that's my ten (really eleven) on ten.
What can I say, I'm an overachiever.  ;)

This was fun.
I'm marking my calendar for next month!
