What we've been up to...

Hi friends, family, and fellow bloggers.
What's new with you?
Does anyone else feel like time is just beginning to go faster and faster?  It's crazy.
I can't believe it's almost May.
I can't believe I'm almost 30.
I can't believe the cruise is in just two short weeks.
I can't believe that next summer Mr. Hass and I will be in Hawaii celebrating TEN years of marriage already.  Ten!  Ten?
Where has the time gone???
Each week just seems to be going faster and faster.
Blogging continues to seem harder to do for some reason.
Here's a recap of a few random things...

-One morning the girls (and I) made fresh orange juice with the oranges that Hannah and Claire picked from Gamma and Geeps house.  My Mom let us borrow her vintage juicer.  I have my eye on a juicer from BB&B.  I want to start juicing veggies and fruits and all kinds of things.
-Think thin bars are my new favorite thing.  I love having one of these handy when I'm on the go and starting to get really hungry.  They are great when I am working too.  No sugar and 20g of protein.  That keeps ya full for quite a while, and they are tasty.
-I saw this cute idea for Easter carrots filled with cheetos on Kerri's blog.  Mr. Hass told me the night before Hannah's Easter party at school that he forgot to sign her up for something (he brings her most days because I am working), so my Mom helped me throw these together last minute.
-I didn't have a cute basket to bring them in, so a Nordstrom bag had to suffice.
-One morning while I was getting ready Hannah yelled, "Mooooom, come look what Clairey did.  She made a mess with her baby powder!"
Yes.  Yes she did.
She managed to empty an entire and rather large container of baby powder everywhere she could think of.
You see it there on the banister don't you?  So you can only guess what it looked like downstairs right?
Hmm hmmm.  Yeah.  It was lovely.
-We discovered a new product that just might be life changing for me.  Biofreeze where have you been all my life?  All those times I have worked a 12 hour day on my feet doing hair, biofreeze where have you been??  This stuff is 1,000 times better than icy hot.  (We bought it on amazon for way cheaper than it is sold at Massage Envy.)
I woke up three days ago and could not turn my neck without pain.  The knots in between my shoulder blades are so bad that they are pinching a nerve now.  It does not feel good.  I had a massage hoping that would relieve the stiffness a bit.  It hasn't yet, and now I am really sore from the massage too.  Looks like I will be biofreezin it up tonight.
-I was in the mood to play with my camera one morning, and this is the best I could get from these two.
-I got a new phone.  It is the droid 2.  I like it.  Still getting used to the whole touch screen concept.  The day it came I had to get to the salon and Mr. Hass didn't really have time to explain how it works to me (and yes I am too tech challenged to figure it out myself).  So I got a call while at work and couldnt even figure out how to answer it.  My friend yelled, "Quick!  We need a young person to help her answer her phone!"  I laughed.  But then later I thought, wait... does that mean I am not a young person?  Ha.

-These girls love a good dance party after dinner and before tub time.  Sometimes it's even a nudie dance party.  Oh to be so carefree.  Their favorite song right now is "Whiskey's gone but I ain't leavin" by Zach Brown Band.  Maybe I shouldn't have told you that.
-Hannah especially loved her hair do this morning.  Two piggies in braids, and twisted into buns.
This morning the girls and I grocery shopped at Trader Joe's.
We were just about finished and approaching the front of the store for a few more items.  There were many employees nearby, and a handful of shoppers within earshot, when Hannah races up to me pushing her pint sized cart and yells,
"HEY MOM!  Do we need to get Dad more BEER??!"
I swear everyone stopped and looked at me.  I turned my head and tried not to laugh as I said, No.  No Hannah.  We do not need to get any beer.
These girls.

-One more thing before I go.  I'd like to give a big blog birthday shout out to my Grandma and my cousin Deanna who are celebrating their birthdays today!!!!
xoxoxo

Scenes from Easter Weekend.

Saturday Mr. Hass got off work at 2:30 (I love that shift and he does too, the only bummer is that he starts at 6am) and my older cousin Don and his wife Kaylen came over to hang out and have dinner.  I didn't take one picture the whole night.  I was just in the mood to be present and enjoy their company.  We always have a nice time with them.

Sunday (Easter) Mr. Hass was sheduled to work until 5pm.  We both enjoyed watching the girls open their baskets in the morning before he left and then we just laid low at home (the girls were tired after all the fun they had visiting with Don & Kaylen the night before).
When we got to my parents house Hannah was very excited to see that the bunny had been there too.  That bunny even left movie tickets for Mr. H and I.
Aunt E was trying to keep the kids entertained in the backyard while the men folk hid the eggs in the front yard.
I came out to make sure the men folk were doing a good job of easter egg hiding.
Then I decided to photograph this handsome one some more.
I thought the reflection of all of us in the window was neat looking so while the men folk were busy hiding the eggs, I tried to get them to pose for me.
I thought this picture was neat because you could see the back of my Dad, and then the front of everybody in the reflection.  They all look so happy to be posing for me don't they?
We laughed at this one because the flag was waving in the breeze and it looks like my Dad doesn't have a head.  We said we all kind of look a little ghost like in these pictures.  Creepy.
Or maybe we look more like the Cullens.  (you know who the Cullens are right?)
Funny story- this window is looking into the kitchen where my Mom was busy working away.  She thought we were all standing there trying to get her attention so she was inside posing for a picture waving at us.  We couldn't see her.  We only saw ourselves.  :)
Aren't the girls shirts darling?
I made them.
I sew.
Did you know that?
Just kidding.  I'm lying.
My Mom made them.
I do want her to teach me how to do that one of these days.
After running around in the orange grove the kids were told that the egg hunt was about to commence.
They wasted no time getting out there.
Someone told me that my brother reminds them of the character Crosby on Parenthood.  Funny.  He does resemble him a little bit.
Hannah found the golden egg.
She also found it last year.
She was so excited.
Inside it she found $10.
Then she jumped with joy.
Noah was pretty excited for his cousin.
It was cute.
He probably thought she was gonna spend it on something for his birthday tomorrow.  ;)
My Mom set a beautiful and festive table (which I did not take one picture of), and we ate a delicous meal.  Salmon, tuna steaks, asparagus, salad, rolls, wild rice, and strawberry shortcake for dessert.  You can check out my Mom's pics from the day here.

Tonight the girls had a blast at bath time.
That Easter bunny left them all sorts of fun bathtub art supplies at Gamma's house.
Those art supplies sure are fun for mom to scrape off of the sides of the tub.
I've never seen a more rainbow colored bathtub ring.

Claire made me laugh tonight at bedtime.
After I read her a story I was rocking her and asking her to give me kisses.
She wanted to talk.
Her vocabulary has really increased the last couple of months and she is trying to say and repeat everything.
She was showing me the flowers on her new nightgown.
"Bue one (blue one), pink one, nother (another) one fwower (flower), nie nie... me, baby....me"
She likes to tell me that she is the baby all the time.
Then I asked her to say I love you mama,
and she says, "I wuv you mama".
It's one of the sweetest things I could ever hear.
Tomorrow we are going bed shopping for Claire.
It's time to get rid of the crib.

Tomorrow my nephew Noah turns four.
Where does the time go...

Blog Sale!!!!!!

Hello friends!!!

So this is it...
my first ever blog sale!
Maybe you'll think it's fun.
Or maybe it will be a total bust.
Never know until you try right?

So here is what I've got for sale...
There is a "buy now" button at the bottom of this post. If you see something you like, be sure to snag it fast.  It is first come first serve my friends.

SOLD!!  Item #1- Citizens of Humanity Jeans, size 28, style- kelly stretch #001 low waist bootcut, medium wash,  $70 plus $7 for shipping.  (To be honest, I still love these jeans, but my hips have not fit into them since having kids.  I hate to part with them, but it is what it is.)

Item #2- Citizens of Humanity jeans, style- ingrid stretch #002, size 28 low waist flair, light wash, $70 plus $7 for shipping.

SOLD!  Item #3- True Religion Joey jeans, size 29, medium wash.
I love this pair of jeans.  I still remember when I bought them.  Mr. Hass nearly died when he found out how much I spent on them.  I wear a size 29 now and I can zip these up fine but they are a little tight and do not have much give.  So if you are a true 29 these would probably fit you really well.  They are good butt jeans.  ;)
Price is $80 plus $7 shipping.

Item #4- Lauren Conrad skinny jeans, size 10.  As soon as I bought these I knew they were too big.  I tried to return them for an 8 but they did not have an 8.  So I hung onto them thinking it might work.  Turns out, it doesn't.  I have worn them about three times.  They have a nice stretch to them and are comfortable. I paid about $40 for them so I am asking $27 plus $5 shipping.

SOLD! Item #5- Citizens of Humanity jeans, size 28, style- ingrid stretch #002 low waist flair.  (these are the same pair as item #2 but in a darker wash).  I love love these jeans, but the last time I wore them I was 8 weeks pregnant with Hannah.  They have not fit since. Sad face.  I'm asking for $70 plus $7 shipping.

Item #6- black velour Juicy Couture jacket, size large.  I have the matching pants and wear them all the time.  The jacket fits ok but I have long arms and the sleeves are a little short on me.  I knew they were short but I bought it anyway, so I have not worn this more than a handful of times.  It was a $100 jacket and I am asking for $50 plus $7 shipping.

Item #7- brown skirt, Old Navy, never worn, size medium.
I bought this skirt because I saw it featured on Fashion Florida Mommy's blog and I loved it.  I bought it right away, but I never could figure out what top to wear with it.  I've had it since last summer and never worn it.  So, if you have a good idea of how to wear it, it's yours.  $20 plus $5 shipping.

Item #8- khaki green shorts from Nordstrom, size 9, 98% cotton and 2% spandex.  I have only worn these a handful of times.  I knew I needed the size 7 but I went with the 9 and they are pretty stretchy so they just didn't work out for me.  If they fit me better I would not be getting rid of them.  I think they go with a lot of things.  The brand is Jalate from Brass Plum's department.  $20 plus $5 shipping.

Item #9- Michael Kors sunglasses, tortoise color, wrap around frames, comfortable fit, no scratches on the lenses, magnetic closing case that is orange inside.  I have a thing for sunglasses and I buy them often.  I used these for a little while and then just moved on.  I'm asking for $50 plus $5 shipping.

So that's that!
See anything you like???

Mr. Hass helped me get this whole fancy schmancy paypal thing all set up.  Let me know if you have any problems with it.  Thanks!

What I Wore Wednesday

It's Wednesday.
You know what that means...

I tried to get some back of the head hair shots for you.  They didn't turn out so great.  My hair was leftover curly from the day before (er- might have been two days before.  Don't judge me alright, you know your hair is better dirty too.)  I just pulled it into a side ponytail and then did not pull the pony all the way through.  Then I just make it messy and bobbi pin certain pieces until I like the way it looks.  :)

I think this was last Wednesday.  Going to work.  Don't laugh at that second pic on the right.  I am not sure what kind of a face that is.  I think I was talking to the girls while trying to pose like a supermodel.  ;)
